JOHN RICHMOND

John Richmond was born in Manchester in 1960 and moved to London, then to Italy. He graduated fashion design at Kingston University in 1982, and immediately conceived the collections under his own name, while working with brands such as Emporio Armani, Joseph Tricot and Fiorucci. Since 1987, Richmond has worked for the brand site, producing three lines, main line: John Richmond, second line: Richmond X, and line denim: Denim Richmond. His clothes are creative and unpredictable. His creations are distinctive enough to dress stars such as Madonna, George Michael, David Bowie, Mick Jagger and Annie Lennox.
